marks in 1 year.

As a 12th completed student(last year)( waiting for my results) ,I would like to share my experience to get 590+ marks in this academic year 2025-26.

✅ 1. Stick to Samacheer Textbook

• This is your main book for all subjects.
• Don’t depend too much on guides or coaching materials initially(especially for major subjects)
• Read the book line by line — most 1-mark and 2-mark questions are picked directly.

✅ 2. Study Plan for a Normal Day

🗓️ Morning (1 hour): Study formulas or derivations

📘 After school (2–3 hours):

• 1 hour for physics/maths/chemistry problem-solving
• 1 hour for theory (like Chemistry theory, Bio, or English/Tamil)

📚 Before bed: 15 mins of revision or recalling what you studied today

✅ 3. Prioritize Important Subjects

• For example(bio-maths group):

1)Maths

2)Physics

3)Chemistry

4)Bio/Cs

5)Tamil

6)English

Mainly focus on cutoff subjects.If you plan to study engineering after 12th focus mainly on Maths or if you plan to study Medical/Paramedical after 12th focus mainly on Biology.

✅ 4. Make 3 Types of Notes

1. ✏️ One Mark Notes: Write your own 1-mark Q&A(Creative 1 mark & book inside qn)
2. 🧠 Concept Notes: Important formulas & definitions
3. 📊 Diagrams & Flowcharts (especially for Biology and Physics)

✅ 5. Revise Weekly

• Every Sunday: Spend 1–2 hours revising what you learned that week
• Don’t skip old lessons — build memory through regular revision

✅ 6. Do Self-Testing

• Practice writing model exams at home
• Use a timer to finish in exactly 3 hours
• After writing, correct it yourself using textbook answers

✅ 7. Avoid Distractions

• Keep your phone away while studying
• Use Pomodoro (25 min study + 5 min break) if you get bored quickly

✅ 8. Believe in Consistency

• Don’t worry if you miss one day
• Just restart — it’s your daily effort, not talent, that gives you 590+/600 and 200/200 cutoff in upcoming year.
